Japanese Site 4Gamer has revealed the release schedule 28nm desktop graphics card from Nvidia's. where all the new graphics card supports the new API DirectX 111. Unlike the GeForce 600m some time ago which is a die shrink from 40nm Fermi, this desktop series is a chip with a new architecture known as Kepler. Nvidia launches strategy to change this new graphics card, which they usually start with a series of high-end GPU, the series followed the mainstream and entry, the last new series is a dual GPU.

At this time Kepler will begin with the Nvidia GPU with a mainstream budget GK107 code that has a class between series GeForce GT 520 and GTX 550Ti, GK107 will be available in Q2 2012 with 128-bit GDDR5 and still use the PCIe Gen 2 standard. Next is the GK106 that replaces GeForce GTX 560 with 256-bit memory controller and be the first GDDR5 standard PCIe Gen3. In mid-2012 will present GK104 with 15GB. GDDR5 memory 384-bit which will have performance to 2TFLOPS, or around 30% higher than Nvidia's. flagship single-GPU today, GTX 580.

But even using a smaller die GK104 consume power up to 250W. behind the presence GK104 GK110 which will be followed by a dual GK104. GK112 last and highest is the end of 2012 until early 2013 that a single GPU with a large die memory controller is equipped with 512-bit GDDR5. As explained above, in addition to GK107 all 28nm Nvidia graphics card will use a standard PCIe Gen3. If this schedule is correct, AMD will be a step faster because they will be releasing its GPU Southern Island in Q1 2012.
