Intel to bring back the slide to the next Ivy Bridge processors are
expected to attend in 2012. Ivy Bridge using a new manufacturing process
of 22 nm, which is less than 32 nm Sandy Bridge and how Intel is able
to suppress the use of the power of quad core processors Ivy versus 77W
Bridge 95W on high-end quad-core Sandy Bridge.
Slide also
explained that Ivy Bridge will use a four-digit numbering for all
segments of the processor, compared to Sandy Bridge Celeron versions and
Pentiumnya 3 digits. Ivy Bridge will G2xxx Pentium code, while versions
of the Core i3/i5/i7 use the 37xx series with Core i7 3xxx as
flagshipnya. Ivy Bridge will remain compatible with several Intel
chipsets Series 6, except for P67, P65 and B65.
As for the particular CPU SKU is, well, it seems that most things remain
the same as they are today, although the first digit in the model name
of a 3 instead of two, with the exception of the Pentium and Celeron,
waiting to receive a fourth place before, one is 2. Therefore, we have
the Core i7 37xx, 35xx Core i5, 34xx and 33xx, 31xx and, finally
Pentium Core i3 G2xxx for now.
